Halo Community Vendor Terms
Effective date: November 12, 2026 · Last updated: October 12, 2026
These Vendor Terms apply to a business that a Halo Community has approved as a vendor (the "Vendor"), and to the people who manage its profile. "You" means the Vendor and those people. They are part of the Halo Terms of Service, including its arbitration agreement and Delaware governing law. The Community Guidelines apply to you as a member of the Community too. If these Vendor Terms and the Terms conflict, these Vendor Terms control for your activity as a Vendor.
1. Your profile
Keep your profile accurate and current, including your business name, licenses, and contact details. The Community's owner and managers can review, hide, or remove your profile; members and visitors can report it; and Halo can remove it or suspend your access under Section 15 of the Terms. Your profile page is public.
2. Relationships and endorsements
Tell the Community about any material connection between you and the Community or its owner, such as a sponsorship, payment, referral fee, or ownership interest, so it can be disclosed on your profile. Don't say or imply that Halo or a Community endorses you beyond what your profile states. Don't give or accept anything of value for referrals of settlement services (such as mortgage or title services) where the law, including RESPA, prohibits it. Any arrangement between you and a Community's owner is between the two of you.
3. Leads and introductions
When a member requests an introduction, we send you the details the request lists. When someone uses the contact form on your public profile, we send you their name, email, phone number, and message. If you don't use the vendor portal, we send these by email.
You may use this information only to respond to that request. You must:
- not sell it, share it, or add the person to unrelated marketing;
- follow telemarketing, texting, and email laws (including the TCPA and CAN-SPAM) when you contact them, and stop contacting anyone who asks you to; and
- delete the information when the person asks or you no longer need it to respond.
Halo collects and delivers these messages for you, and you are responsible for how you use them, including any privacy notices or responses to privacy requests you owe.
4. Messaging members
Use Community messages to answer members who contact you or ask for an introduction. Don't send members unsolicited sales messages or bulk outreach.
5. Ending
You can ask a Community to remove your profile at any time. A Community or Halo may end your participation as described above. When it ends, stop using information you received through the Community except to finish responding to open requests.
6. Indemnification
In addition to Section 18 of the Terms, you will defend and indemnify Halo against third-party claims (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your profile, your services, your communications with members and visitors, and your use of information you received through Halo.
7. Changes
We may update these Vendor Terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you before it takes effect and may ask you to accept the updated Vendor Terms.
