Halo Community Guidelines
Effective date: November 12, 2026 · Last updated: October 13, 2026
These Guidelines apply to everyone who joins a Halo Community: the Halo Community, which Huzi, Inc. ("Halo," "we," "us") runs, and private Communities run by Halo customers ("Owners"). They are part of the Halo Terms of Service, which also apply to you. If these Guidelines and the Terms conflict, the Terms control. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Who runs your Community
Halo sets up every Community. In a private Community, the Owner and the managers and moderators the Owner appoints run it day to day: they decide who joins, set membership tiers and prices, approve vendors, and moderate content. We run the Halo Community. Members of a private Community can also see and post in the Halo Community.
An Owner may add its own rules for its Community. Those rules can add to these Guidelines but can't override them or the Terms.
2. Be professional
Communities are for real estate professionals to learn from and help each other. Don't:
- post anything that discriminates or expresses a preference based on a protected characteristic, or that would violate fair housing laws if it were advertising;
- harass, threaten, bully, or demean anyone;
- spam, post repeated self-promotion outside the places meant for it, or message members who haven't asked to hear from you;
- post anything false or misleading, including about properties, your license or credentials, or your results;
- share anyone's private information without permission, including clients' names, contact details, finances, and transaction details;
- post content you don't have the rights to share;
- impersonate anyone, or hide a business relationship. If you are paid or rewarded for recommending something, say so when you recommend it;
- copy, scrape, or export other members' information, or use it to market to them outside the Community; or
- do anything the Terms of Service prohibit (see Section 11 of the Terms).
3. Who can see what
- Posts and comments are visible to the members who can see that Community or channel, with your name and photo.
- Your profile. You choose whether you appear in the People directory and which details other members see. Your email and phone number stay hidden from members unless you turn them on. Your map location is your city. If you choose "Use my location," your device's location is used only to find your city, and other members see your city, not your exact location.
- Owners and managers can see your account email, your application answers, your membership payments, and your event attendance and feedback.
- Direct messages are between you and the other person. If either of you reports a message, moderators see that message only.
- Halo staff can view any Community, without appearing in it, to provide support, keep the Services safe, and enforce these Guidelines.
- AI. We use AI to sort posts. The Community's assistant can read the posts, comments, profiles, events, and Library resources visible to you, along with your own profile and a summary of your Halo workspace, to answer your questions. Your conversations with the assistant aren't shown to the Owner.
4. Your content
You own what you post. You give Halo, and the Owner of the Community you post in, permission to host, display, and share it with the people who can see that Community, as described in Section 5 of the Terms. Halo staff may share posts and resources from the Halo Community with other Communities, with your name on them.
You can delete your own posts, comments, and direct messages at any time. A deleted post or comment is removed for everyone, and a deleted message is removed for you and the other person. Deleting a post also withdraws it from Collective Learning. Deleting doesn't change answers the Community's assistant already gave, and if someone reported the content before you deleted it, the people reviewing the report can still see it.
Collective Learning. If you offer a post to Collective Learning, the Owner or a manager may review it and add it to the Community's Library, where members and the Community's assistant can use it. You choose whether to use your name or share anonymously. If you share anonymously, the post appears to other members as "Halo Community member," without your name or photo, in the feed, in the Library, and in the assistant's answers. The Owner, managers, moderators, and Halo staff can still see who wrote it, and your comments still show your name. The post stays anonymous even if you later withdraw it or it isn't added to the Library. You can withdraw a post at any time. Withdrawing removes it from the Library and from future answers, but it doesn't change answers already given or your original post.
5. Reporting and moderation
You can report a post, comment, message, or vendor. The person you report won't see who reported them. Moderators can pin, lock, hide, or restore posts and comments, remove reported messages, and suspend or remove members. Halo can do the same in any Community. We may also remove content or suspend access under Section 15 of the Terms.
6. Paid memberships
In a private Community, you buy your membership from the Owner, not from Halo. The Owner sets the price, whether it renews, and its cancellation and refund terms, and checkout shows the price and whether it renews. Stripe processes the payment on the Owner's own Stripe account. You can stop a renewing membership at any time from the Community's billing page, and your access continues through the period you paid for. Refunds are up to the Owner unless the law requires otherwise, so contact the Owner first; we can help you reach them. If you leave or are removed, the Owner's settings decide whether your renewal stops.
In the Halo Community, Halo is the seller and Section 4 of the Terms applies.
7. Vendors and introductions
Vendors are independent businesses that a Community has approved. Halo doesn't endorse them. Where a Community has told us about its business relationship with a vendor, such as a paid sponsorship, the vendor's profile says so.
When you request an introduction, we share the details the request form lists and record your consent and the time. The vendor may contact you about that request.
8. Leaving
To leave a Community, ask its Owner or email support@huzi.ai. Leaving doesn't refund a payment. Your posts stay unless you delete them or a moderator removes them. After you leave, you can ask us to remove them.
9. Changes
We may update these Guidelines. If a change is material, we'll tell you before it takes effect and may ask you to accept the updated Guidelines when you next visit a Community.
